Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer team played host to College of the Canyons in Western State Conference action on Friday afternoon. The Owls were simply outplayed by the Cougars giving up a pair of goals in each half, losing 4-0.

Canyons more or less dominate the match-up offensively, nearly tripling the shot attempts of Citrus 13-5. The Owls did earn more corner kicks (5-3), but were never able to come up with a score. Canyons' scores came fairly close together, scoring in the 2nd and 29th minutes of the first half and the 54th and 66th minutes in the second half.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 1-7-1 on the season an 1-4-0 in WSC play. The Owls have another tough test on Tuesday evening when they travel to Santa Barbara City College for a 7:30 PM showdown with the Vaqueros.
