Owls Drop Another in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer program was on the road Tuesday night in Western State Conference action. The Owls dropped another contest, losing to a tough Santa Barbara City College squad 1-0.

Citrus hung with Santa Barbara early on taking four shots in the first half compared to six for the Vaqueros. One of those six by the Vaqueros did find the back of the net, but the Owls at least kept it close. In the second half, Santa Barbara put Citrus on their heels taking 10 shots to Citrus' two. The Owls were able to keep a clean sheet in the second half, but they did suffer their eighth loss of the year.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 1-8-1 overall and 1-5-0 in WSC play. The Owls will be at home this coming Friday when they host Allan Hancock College for a 1:00 PM showdown.
