Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer team put together a sloppy second half on Friday afternoon when they hosted visiting Allan Hancock College. The Owls gave up four second half goals en route to their 9th loss of the year 4-0.
The first half was pretty even, with Citrus taking six shots and Allan Hancock five. Each team drew a corner, and the two teams were tied at 0-0 at the break. Things took a turn for the worse for Citrus fairly quickly in that second half. The Bulldogs scored in the 46th minute, putting the Owls in a quick hole. After that, it was all AHC as they scored in the 61st minute, 71st minute, and 88th minute for good measure.
With the loss, Citrus drops to 1-9-1 overall and 1-6-0 in WSC play. The Owls are on the road this Wednesday when they travel to Santa Monica College for a 3:00 PM match.
