Santa Monica, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer season troubles continued on Tuesday afternoon when they travelled to Santa Monica College for another WSC tilt. The Owls were walloped giving up five goals in total, including four in the season half of a 5-0 loss.
The Owls kept it close in the first half, matching Santa Monica's four shots and taking two corners, just one fewer than the Corsairs. Citrus held SMC to just one goal in that first frame, but things fell apart fast in the second half as they gave up a goal 10 minutes in and then three more of the next 30 minutes in the loss.
With the loss, Citrus falls to 1-10-1 overall and 1-7 in WSC play. The Owls will be back home on Friday when they take on Glendale College at 2:00 PM.
