Canyons Put Five on Owls

Santa Clarita, CA - The Citrus College Men's Soccer team tough 2015 campaign continued on Tuesday afternoon at College of the Canyons. The Owls trailed by a lone goal at the break, but gave up four second half goals in a 5-0 loss.

The Owls did their best to keep pace in the first half, rattling of three shots to Canyons three. Still none of those three found the frame, while the Cougars got two including the one that found the back of the net. 

In the second half, Canyons completely took control of the match and outshot the Owls 10-2. Of those 10, four found there was in goal as they routed Citrus 5-0. 

With the loss, Citrus drops to 2-13-2 overall and 2-10-1 in conference play. The Owls will be back home on Friday when they host Santa Barbara City College at 1:00 PM.
