Glendora, CA - The Citrus College men's soccer team ran their current scoreless streak another 90 minutes on Friday afternoon, and and in the process the Owls lost another contest 3-0 to Santa Barbara.
The Owls certainly didn't put their best foot forward on the day giving up two goals in the first two and a half minutes. Citrus was out shot 11 to 3 in the first half and struggled to put the ball on goal. After the disastrous early start citrus did manage to put forth a better defensive effort over the final 80+ minutes. Still, Santa Barbara added another goal early in the second half, and the Owls managed just five total shots on the day.
With the loss Citrus drops to 2-14-2 overall and 2-11-1 in WSC play. Citrus goes out on the road this Tuesday for a 3 PM contest with Allan Hancock College.
