Glendora, CA - The Citrus College Men's Soccer team's 2015 season came to a close on Thursday afternoon. The Owls' rough campaign ended with the 2-0 loss to Santa Monica College.
Santa Monica set the tone from the opening touch besting the owls in shots 11 to 3. While the Corsairs didn't pound the net they did control possession and never let the Owls settle into a rhythm.
The opening salvo by Santa Monica came via the foot of VictorTapia in the 30th minute. Tap you did it again four minutes later and Santa Monica never looked back.
With the loss Citrus ends it's 2015 season with a 2-15-3 mark overall and 2-12-2 record in Western State Conference play.
