Owls Drop Road Game at Moorpark

Moorpark, CA - After scoring a season high four goals at home earlier in the week, the Citrus College Men's Soccer team hit the road on Friday afternoon to take on former WSC rival Moorpark College. The Owls nearly matched the Raiders shot for shot, but came home empty handed in a 2-0 loss.
Citrus would outshoot Moorpark 4-3 in the first half, but would enter the break down 1-0 after a Raider strike in the 38th minute. The Owls wouldn't have as prolific as an offensive output in the second half, but the Raiders put the game away for good late with a strike in the 84th minute.
With the loss, Citrus drops to 3-3-1 overall. The Owls will be on the road again on Tuesday afternoon when they travel to Allan Hancock College for a 4:00 PM match-up with the Bulldogs.
