Late Comeback Rally Comes Up Short For Men's Soccer

Men's Soccer dropped a barn burner match today at home vs visiting San Diego Mesa. 

The Owls went down early 1-4 and rallied late in the second half, pressing Mesa by shoving 3 goals in the net (including 2 Penalty Kicks), and nearly tying the game on a missed header by Reymundo OrrosquietaEduardo Contreras-HerreraEnrique Garnica and  Imer Figueroa each chipped in goals in the losing effort. Starting Goalie Christian Arevalo pulled in 5 saves on the day.

Citrus moves to 0-4 in the preseason as they move into next week. They'll take the field again next Friday in Moorpark for a 2:00 kickoff.
