Men's Soccer Finding Its Groove

Men's Soccer Finding Its Groove

Citrus Men's Soccer has found its spark. After a lengthy and at times trying preseason, the Owls have turned things around, going unbeaten in their last 3 matches. The latest match, a goalie battle that ended 0-0 at WSC conference foe Bakersfield, followed a 2-1 win over Antelope Valley and a 5-2 stroll in the park against Victor Valley. Citrus moves to 2-6-4 on the year, but are 2-1-1 in conference, enough to solidly occupy the #2 spot behind Canyons.

Citrus started out the season on a bit of a slide after winning the WSC conference title last season, going winless through the majority of its preseason schedule. But the rigors and challenges of a tough preseason are paying off, as Citrus is now unbeaten in 3 straight games. If the Owls can take care of Glendale tomorrow and take down Canyons this Friday, there's a fair chance Citrus would be in the #1 spot.

Citrus hosts Glendale tomorrow at 3:00 PM and Canyons Friday at 3:00 PM.
