Ramos Lifts Owls to Victory

A late goal proved to be the game-winner as Citrus College grabbed a 1-0 victory over Imperial Valley College.

The Owls improve to 2-4-0 with their second shutout win of the season while IVC drops to 1-5-0 with the loss.

Citrus put on the pressure early, including a good look from Lance Becker in the 24^th minute. He redirected an Owl free kick on goal, forcing IVC's goalkeeper to make the save.

IVC looked like it might strike first, putting back-to-back shots on goal in the 34^th minute, but Ezequiel Jimenez made two of his three saves to preserve the shutout for Citrus.

Dustin Ramos scored the lone goal for the Owls, capitalizing in the 80^th minute of play. Enrique Bedolla picked up the assist.

The Owls head to San Diego Mesa for a Tuesday night game, kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
