Citrus College closed out the home season with a 2-2 draw against the College of the Canyons Tuesday.
The Owls move to 2-10-4 overall and 0-5-1 in Western State Conference-South action with the result, while the Cougars stand at 4-11-3, 2-2-2.
Jesus Arguelles wasted little time for the Owls, finding the back of the net in just the fourth minute of action off a Fernando Alfaro assist.
Canyons scored back-to-back goals to take a 2-1 lead halfway through the second half, but David Orozco broke through in the 74th minute to give the Owls a share of the points.
Citrus heads to Bakersfield College on Friday for a 4 p.m. contest before closing out the season next week.
