Citrus College saw its season come to an end Tuesday with a 3-2 defeat at Antelope Valley College.
The Owls end the year with a 2-12-4 overall record and 0-7-1 in the Western State Conference-South. The Marauders improve to 8-3-6 on the year and 5-0-2 in conference.
Jose Alvarez-Novales got the Owls on the board first off a Lance Becker assist in the 18th minute, putting the visitors up 1-0 early.
AVC managed to score three consecutive goals to put some pressure on Citrus to find the back of the net.
In the 88th minute, David Orozco capitalized for the Owls, but it wasn't enough as the Marauders sealed the 3-2 victory.
Alberto Orozco finished the game with eight saves to try to keep his team in the game.
