The Citrus College Men's Soccer team traveled to Victorville this evening for a matchup with the Victor Valley College Rams in which they lost 2-0.
Citrus College falls to 2-5-2 on the year while Victor Valley College improves to 4-5-1 on the season.
Although the Owls nearly matched the Rams' seven shots with six of their own (five on goal), they were unable to overcome goals scored by the Rams in the 15th minute and the 22nd minute. After going up 2-0 in the first half, the Rams defensive effort in the second half limited the Owls in their attempts at a comeback.
The Owls had shots on goal from Ty Robnett, Alexis Guterriez, Chris Avalos, and Yair Hernandez but were not able to find the back of the net on Friday night.
Citrus College will have a week to rest and recover before they are on the road against LA City College next Friday, October 4th at 5 p.m.
