Men's Polo Picks Up Key Conference Win

Men's Water Polo picked up their 2nd straight Western State Conference win yesterday when they traveled to Ventura, beating the home team 13-5. 

The Owls had strong performances from several players, including Greg Fusco, Anthony Alacorn, and Peyton Alonzo who each netted 3 goals in the matchup. Goalie Josh Ocampo shut down the Ventura offense with 8 saves on 13 shots faced. 

The win marks the 2nd conference win overall and moves the Owls to 2-1 in the WSC and 9-6 overall. The Owls take another dip in the pool this Saturday when they head out to Fullerton for a mini tournament. The next home game for the Citrus men is next Wednesday at home against LA Valley for a WSC conference game. Game time is set for 3:30 PM.
