Citrus College took on NCAA Division III opponent CalTech Thursday but ultimately fell 13-9.
The Owls move to 2-6 on the year, while the Beavers improve to 1-1.
Jullian Nichols led the Owls with six goals in the game, while Logan Haberle dished out four assists. Rolan Solis had two goals and three assists and Nathan Salcedo scored and assisted once as well.
Matteo Velasquez finished with 12 saves in the cage.
Citrus heads to the Palomar Mini Tournament next, first taking on Grossmont College at 10 am on Saturday.
