Owls' Offensive Output Outshines Opponents

Citrus College played a pair of games at home Friday afternoon and exploded on offense. The Owls beat Chaffey College 23-5 and followed with a 19-0 victory over Crafton Hills College to improve to 12-9 on the year.
Nine Owls scored in the first game, led by Colton Vale's five goals. Killian Pressley followed with four goals, while Riley Bagley and Gavin Tanner each scored three goals. Devon Dow (2), Logan Haberle (2), Cristian Duran (2), Aiden Herald (1), and Milton Gutierrez (1) also scored for the Owls.
Defensively, Brian de Lama finished with eight saves in the cage.
Shortly after the first game ended, Citrus dominated a 19-0 shutout victory over Crafton Hills.
Once again, Vale led the Owls with five goals, while Haberle chipped in four goals and Bagley and Dow added three and two, respectively. Pressley, John Wilson, Tanner, Thomas Gibson, and Gutierrez also rattled in goals for the home team.
De Lama had to make nine saves to preserve the clean sheet.
Citrus looks to carry its offensive prowess into next week when it hosts LA Valley on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
