The Citrus College Men's Water Polo team hosted Caltech on Tuesday for their first home game of the season.
After a back-and-forth game that ended in a 9-9 tie after four quarters, the Owls and Beavers battled into double overtime where Citrus College was able to seal the game, winning 12-11.
Citrus College moves to 8-2 overall on the season, while Caltech goes to 2-4.
The Owls were led by Killian Pressley who scored four goals, assisted on two goals, added two steals and three exclusions drawn. Trace Faskell also scored four goals, Liam Ross scored two goals and Devon Down scored one goal. Adam Herald recorded three assists, two of which were in the second overtime to secure the win.
Men's Water Polo will look to improve on their 8-2 record at home for a triple header of games as hosts of the Citrus College Water Polo Tournament on Saturday, September 28th.
