Owls Let One Slip Away in Pasadena

Citrus Softball took a road trip to Pasadena on Friday for a CCCAA Regional matchup. The Owls let the game slip away, losing 5-13. The loss dropped the Owls to .500 with an 18-18 overall record. 

The Owls did get some good production at the plate. Giavanna Muenz went 2 for 4 on the day, driving in 2 runs. Brook Fuss was 2 for 3 from the plate, knocking in a run and scoring one herself. Cerina Martinez recorded a double with an RBI, and Alex Valenzuela posted a hit, an RBI and a run. She also recorded a sacrifice fly. 

Citrus takes the field again on Thursday in a road contest at Barstow College. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
