Citrus College only had four hits but made them count in a 4-0 victory over Mt. San Jacinto College Thursday.
The Owls improve to 10-5 overall, while the Eagles drop to 5-5 on the year.
Leah Morales went 2-for-2 for the Owls and scored a run, while Madelyn Hajj had two RBIs and Nicole Moore also had a hit for Citrus.
Samantha Meyndert picked up her sixth win in the circle for the Owls, not allowing a single run.
Citrus broke through in the bottom of the third as Hajj blasted a two-run base hit to score Kylie Ruiz and Moore. An Eagle error in the fifth tacked on two more runs for the Owls as Morales and Ruiz scored to help secure the victory.
Citrus remains at home to host LA Harbor College on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
