Citrus College outhit Pasadena City College, but fell short on the scoreboard on Monday afternoon.
The Owls drop to 15-8 on the year, while the Lancers improve to 4-17 overall.
The Owls had nine hits from eight different batters and outhit the Lancers nine to six, but failed to string enough hits together to match the Lancers. Samantha Meyndert would be the top hitter on the day going 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Owls.
Citrus will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Saddleback College in non-conference action. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
