Bakersfield, CA -- After a promising first half, the Citrus College Women's Basketball team went ice cold in the second half of their conference contest on Wednesday night. The Owls were held to a season low 10 points in the second half, falling 48-30 to the host Renegades.

While it wasn't pretty, Citrus took care of business in that first half. The Owls led 20-18 at the half, their first lead at the break since the start of WSC South play.

Things went South in the second half for the Owls though, as they scored just 10 points and eventually a season total low of 30.

With the loss, Citrus drops too, 11-9 overall and 0-4 in conference play. The Owls will keep looking for that elusive first conference win on Saturday when they host West Los Angeles College. Tip-off is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
