Rebibo Signs With Chico State

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Sarah Rebibo became the second Owl from the 2012-2013 Citrus College Women's Basketball team to sign a scholarship offer this past week. Rebibo has accepted a scholarship off from NCAA DII Chico State.

"Chico provided me the best opportunity to continue my education and grow on and off the court while being away from home," Rebibo said. "Citrus has played a huge role in my life the last few years. I've learned the greatest life lessons here, from both the school and Coach Tam [McDonald]."

Rebibo spent the last two seasons as a key player for the Owls, appearing in 52 games with 29 starts between the 2011-2013 seasons. In her Citrus career, Rebibo averaged 2.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game, along with 8 points per game.

"Rebibo has helped pioneer this program into a contender in the Southern California. She was one of the best shooting point guards in the conference, and she is an incredible passer with terrific court vision," Citrus College Head Women's Basketball Coach Tamara McDonald said.  "Sarah has been a model player in this program as a two-time Scholar Baller, and she will make a major impact at Chico State."
