Pasadena, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Basketball team allowed a double digit second half lead slip away on Friday afternoon in the 15th Annual Rose City Classic hosted by Pasadena City College. The Owls even led as late as the two minute mark, but ultimately fell to College of the Canyons 66-59.

In the loss, Citrus was led by sophomore Taylor Jackson who had 12 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Sophomore Jaelyn Wilson had a team high 19 to go along with 13 boards, while sophomore Jasmin Longtin had 9 and 7.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 0-2 on the year. The Owls will be back in action at home next Friday when they take on Grossmont College. Tip-off is set for 5:00 PM.
