Owls Move Into State Rankings and Up Six Spots In SoCal Rankings
Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Basketball team continued on its strong roll last week as it opened up conference play with a pair of wins over Santa Monica College and Glendale College. In response the pollsters, moved the Owls into the State Rankings and also moved them up six total spots in the Southern California rankings.
After being unranked in them last week, Citrus debuted in the State Poll this week at #19. The Owls were also all the way up to #9 in Southern California, one spot behind Mt. San Jacinto College, a team Citrus owns a win over. Citrus won't get much chance for rest this week as it continues its WSC South journey. The Owls will hit the road for their longest conference trip of the year on Wednesday for a 5:00 PM tip at Bakersfield College, followed by another home contests against Antelope Valley College on Saturday in the Owls' Nest at 3:00 PM.
