Owls Rally in Second Half for Win at Santa Monica

Santa Monica, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Basketball team made it two straight on Saturday afternoon with a 56-51 win over Santa Monica College. The Owls trailed by one at the break, but got it together in the second half to grab the five point win.

Sophomore Olivia Montgomery led the way for the Owls with a game high 20 points. Montgomery also had seven rebounds, an assist, and a pair of steals. Sophomore Jaelyn Wilson was big for the Owls as well with 16 points and a team high 8 rebounds, while freshman Jessica Samson had a season high 15 points off the bench for Citrus.

With the win, Citrus improves to 13-8 overall and 4-3 in WSC South play. The Owls will be back at home on Wednesday when they take on visiting Glendale College, with tip-off set for 5:00 PM.
