Citrus College battled but came up short Wednesday night, dropping a 61-45 loss to No. 10-ranked Glendale College.
The Owls slipped to 10-10 on the year, 1-5 in Western State Conference action. The Vaqueros improved to 13-5 overall and 4-2 in conference.
Katherine Goostrey led the Owls with 19 points – her seventh-straight game scoring in double figures – and dished out five assists. Giselle Garcia-Nunez also posted double-digit points, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the year.
The Owls look to bounce back on Saturday as they host LA Valley at 5:00 p.m.
