After a stellar freshman campaign, where she led Citrus College to its best start to the season in almost two decades and making her mark in the Owl Record Book, Katherine Goostrey is ready to continue her playing career at Westmont College.

Goostrey, a freshman guard from Glendora, Calif., made an impact right away for the Owls. She finished the year ranking 18th in the state with an 18.9 points per game average, which ranks third all-time in the Citrus history books –no individual records are available prior to the 2006-07 season. Goostrey averaged 4.4 assists per game, which sits fourth all-time and knocked down 66 three-pointers, which ties for first in the Owl record book.

On Dec. 1, 2021, Goostrey finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to become the second Owl in program history to post a triple-double. Three days later, she tied the single-game record for most three-pointers made in a game with six. Goostrey scored in double figures in all but two games, including a career-best 29 points three times, and dished out a career-high 13 assists, which tied the single-game record.

Goostrey joins a dominant NAIA program that last year advanced to the NAIA National Championship Round of 16 after winning the GSAC regular-season championship.
