Citrus College battled in its final game of the season but fell 70-39 to West LA Friday night.
The Owls end the year with an 8-19 overall and 4-9 Western State Conference-South record. The Wildcats also finish at 8-19 on the year and 5-8 in conference.
Reanne Reola led the Owls with 10 points on the night, while Cayla Williams was close to a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds.
As a team, the Owls locked down the Wildcats on the perimeter, holding West LA to just one three-pointer on 22 attempts, but it wasn't enough as the home team dominated the paint with over half its points coming under the basket (44-14).
