No. 24-ranked Citrus College battled to force overtime and picked up a 77-76 victory over West LA College on Wednesday night.
The Owls improve to 16-5 overall and 6-1 in the Western State Conference, while the Wildcats drop to 12-9 on the year, 2-5 in conference.
Jolleen Olia led the Owls with her second-highest point performance of the year with 33 points (11-for-27) and grabbed 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the year. Kristin Morella followed with 12 points (4-for-14), while Leilani Argueta chipped in 11 points (4-for-9).
Sammy Martinez led the Owls off the glass, grabbing 13 rebounds in the game.
Citrus looks to build on the win as it hosts Bakersfield College on Saturday at 5 p.m.
