No. 22-ranked Citrus College started strong but couldn't fend off No. 9-ranked Glendale College in a 64-41 defeat Saturday evening.
The Owls slip to 19-7 on the year, 9-3 in Western State Conference action, while the Vaqueros remain undefeated in conference (12-0) and 24-2 overall.
Two Owls finished the night in double digits, led by Leilani Argueta with 15 points (6-for-9). Jolleen Olia followed with 13 points (4-for-12) and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Citrus has just two games left in the regular season, heading to Antelope Valley College on Wednesday before hosting West LA on Friday, with both games tipping off at 7 p.m.
