No. 23-ranked Citrus College took on No. 9-ranked Mt. San Jacinto College in the second round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional but fell 84-54 to see its season come to an end.
The Owls finish with a 20-10 mark on the year, while the Eagles improve to 23-4 overall and will challenge for a spot in the 3C2A State Championship.
Kristin Morella led the Owls with 25 points (10-for-24) and had five steals in the game, while Jolleen Olia posted 14 points (5-for-18).
Citrus' stellar season comes to an end with its first 20-win season since the 2008-09 season.
