Simi Valley, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Golf team didn't have their best showing on Monday afternoon in their Western State Conference Match hosted by College of the Canyons. The Owls struggled at Simi Hills Golf Course and found themselves in last place.

Citrus shot a combined 367 on Monday afternoon, four strokes back of Bakersfield College, whom the Owls defeated in the previous two tournaments. Freshman Paramee Suwantanma was the highlight of the day for the Owls, shooting an 80, the 6th best round of the day, and just three strokes off the top round.

Sophomore Kandace Delgado came into the clubhouse behind her with a 89, while sophomores Deondra Alcantara and Kristen Masters rounded out the scoring for Citrus with rounds of 95 and 103 respectively.

Citrus will look to get back on track next Monday when they participate in the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College. That match is set for a 10:30 AM start time at Stockdale Country Club in Bakersfield.
