Owls Shoot Team WSC Low Round of Year; Still Third

Pasadena, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Golf team shot their lowest combined team round of their 2013 conference schedule last Monday afternoon at the WSC Glendale Event. Citrus shot a 354, which was three strokes lower than their previous week's effort, but still had to settle for third place overall.

Freshman Paramee Suwantanma and sophomore Kandace Delgado paced Citrus' effort on the day as both shot rounds of 84. Sophomore's Deondra Alcantara and Marisa Piceno each came in with solid 93's. For Piceno it was her best round of the year.

Citrus will be back out on the links next week when they participate in the WSC Championships. The two day event will be held at Alisal Ranch Golf Course in Solvang. The first round tees off on Sunday November 3rd 11:30 AM.
