Solvang, CA -- Citrus College freshman women's golfer Paramee Suwantanma became just the second Citrus College Women's Golfer in program history to advance to the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships this past weekend thanks to her performance at the Southern California Championships. Suwantanma finished 12th out of all competing golfers, but was third of those competing without teams.

Suwantanma opened up the two day tournament at the River Course at Alisal with an 83, three strokes worse than her two rounds at the same course at last weekend's WSC Championships. Suwantanma rebounded nicely on the second day though, posting a 78, matching her best round from two weeks ago and putting her with a two day total of 161.

Suwantanma continues on to the State Championships which will be held at the Tracy Country Club in Tracy, CA next week. The first of two rounds starts on Monday November 18th.
