San Dimas, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Golf team played host to the rest of the Western State Conference on Wednesday afternoon at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. The Owls' top two players continued to lead the conference individually, while Citrus finished third again as a team.

Freshman Jamie Lopez was the low scorer in the clubhouse for the first time this Western State Conference season. Lopez fired an 78, the lowest round by two strokes on the day. Coming in second place was her teammate, freshman Lexandra So, who shared the second spot with one other girl, shooting an 80. Rounding out the Citrus scoring on Wednesday were freshmen Brittany Thelen and Sara Asencio. Thelen shot a 110, while Asencio came in with a 122 for a team total of 390.

The Owls will back out on the links this coming Monday when they take part in the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College. Tee-time is set for 10:30 AM at Kern River Golf Course.
