Owls Take Fourth in Season Opener

The Citrus College women's golf team took fourth at the Chuck Melendez Invite.

Citrus College opened the 2021 season at the Chuck Melendez Invite on the Buena Ventura Golf Course Monday, taking fourth as a team.

Isabel Garcia led the Owls with an 82, whole Maya Payan finished with a 90. Brianna Urribarri posted a 99 and Citrus' fourth and final score came from Alyssa Barron's 100. The Owls totaled 371 team points.

The Owls continue the season on Monday, heading to Bakersfield, Calif.
