Citrus Competes at Fifth WSC Event of the Year

Citrus College took on the fifth Western State Conference event of the season on Monday and finished with a 458 as a team.

Isabelle Olivas Lowell got back to her winning ways, posting the best personal score with a 76. Ava Johnson continued to make improvements and carded a 119, shaving seven strokes her previous best score. Makenzey de Ridder finished with a 130, while Lidia Cuevas was three strokes behind her with a 130. Sofia Sandoval rounded out the scorers for the Owls with a 138.

The Owls have one final regular-season tune-up at the Santa Maria Country Club on Oct. 23 before the WSC Championships begin on Oct. 29.
