Citrus Battles Tough Conditions in Final Regular-Season Tune-up

In its final tune-up before the Western State Conference Championship, Citrus College carded a 470 as a team in tough, windy conditions.

Isabelle Olivas-Lowell grabbed her fourth individual win of the year with a 78. She leads the WSC with a 73.5 average score (with the two highest rounds thrown out).

Makenzey de Ridder followed with a 127, while Ava Johnson carded a 131. Lidia Cuevas was three strokes behind her teammate with a 134 and Cora Averweg was two strokes behind her.

The Owls head into the postseason next week, with the first of the two-day WSC Championship starting on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Rio Bravo Golf Course.
