Glendora, CA (Women's Soccer) -- The Citrus College Women's Soccer team went seven up on Tuesday afternoon against West LA College in a WSC South meeting. Citrus took a season high 35 shots, and framed 14 of them on goal, all the while not allowing the Wildcats to muster a single shot in the 7-0 win.

Freshman Sheyla Sanchez got things rolling with her third goal of the year in the 6th minute of the contest. Her goal was followed 12 minutes later by sophomore Valerie Eyers first goal of the season in the 18th minute. Sophomore Jasmine Williams scored the first of her three goals in the 23rd minute to put the Owls up 3-0 at the half.

In the second half, Citrus continued to dominate the ball, scoring four more times. Williams scored the first two of the half, the first in the 51st minute off an assist from sophomore Audriana Arceneaux, and the second an unassisted goal in the 60th minute.

Sophomore Gabby Virgen notched her second of the season off an assist from freshman Leslie Grande in the 75th minute, and that was followed by a goal from freshman Jordyn Haynes, her fourth of the year, off an assist from sophomore Elizabeth Johnson in the 79th minute.

With the win, Citrus improves to 10-1-2 and 6-1 overall. The Owls will begin the second half of conference play on Friday when they travel to Glendale College for a 5:00 PM match.
