Glendale, CA (Women's Soccer) -- It was the same old story for the Citrus College Women's Soccer team on Friday night at Glendale College. The Owls did the same thing to the Vaqueros that they did at the start of conference play, as they came up with a 3-0 win over Glendale for the second time this year.

Freshman Jordyn Haynes got things started 21 minutes into the contest when she notched her fifth goal of the year off an assist from sophomore Valerie Eyer. Sophomore Jasmine Williams gave the Owls some more breathing room 14 minutes later when she got her 11th of the year, this one from fellow sophomore Jade Vehawn.

The Owls continued to dominate the ball in the second half, outshooting the Vaqueros 17-1 on the game. Citrus put the game away for good in the 78th minute when freshman Autumn Vigil got her first off the year, thanks to an assist for sophomore Vanessa Plascencia (her sixth) to make it 3-0.

With the win, Citrus improves to 11-1-2 on the season and 6-1 in conference play. The Owls will face a tough test on Tuesday afternoon when they host Santa Monica College in a WSC South title. The match is set for a 4:00 PM start time.
