The Soccer Blog: Merely the Beginning

Throughout the Citrus College Women's Soccer 2012 post-season, Citrus sophomore Jade Vehawn will be blogging for CitrusOwls.com. The Owls, the #10 seed in the Southern California playoffs will be taking on SoCal #7 Ventura College at Ventura at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Today's blog, is the first entry of The Soccer Blog.

Words cannot express how honored and excited we Lady Owls are to be the first in Citrus women's soccer history to make playoffs. We have dedicated ample amounts of time and hard work to get to where we are now. Many see playoffs as an end to a season, but for us it is merely the beginning to a new challenge that we as a team have accepted. This is an incredible opportunity for us to capitalize and prove that we are far better then what we have been ranked and that we are in it to win it.
