Culver City, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Soccer team went on the road for another WSC South match-up on Tuesday afternoon at West LA College. The Owls struck early, and it was enough as all three of their goals were scored in the first 12 minutes en route to a 3-0 win.

Freshman Cindy Ramirez got the ball rolling just 30 seconds into the match when she took a pass from freshman Rebekah Evans and made it 1-0. Evans then got a goal of her own a couple of minutes later when she made it 2-0 in the third minute. Sophomore Valerie Flores closed things out for the Owls when she scored her first of the year off an assist from Ramirez in the 12th minute.

With the win, Citrus improves to 7-3-4 overall and 5-0-2 in WSC South play. The Owls will be back out on the road this Friday when they take on Glendale College to kick-off the second half of WSC South action. Citrus and Glendale played to a 0-0 tie earlier in the year in the conference opener. Friday's match is set for a 7:00 PM start.
