Santa Clarita, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Soccer team got knocked down on Tuesday afternoon, but unlike previous efforts, the Owls didn't get back up, as they were handed their worst loss of the year 6-0.

Canyons scored early on with a goal in the 13th minute, but Citrus didn't let things get out of hand until really the second half. The Cougars scored five of their six goals in the final 48 minutes. The Owls were limited to just three shots on the game, two of which were on frame, compared with 15 and 11 by Canyons.

 With the loss, Citrus drops to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in WSC South play. the Owls will be back out on the road this Friday when they take on West LA in Culver City at 4:00 PM.
