Culver City, CA -- After suffering their worst loss of the season on Tuesday at the hands of College of the Canyons, the Citrus College Women's Soccer team went on the road on Friday afternoon and rallied. The Owls knocked off their host of the day West Los Angeles College 4-0.

It took a little while for Citrus to get things going, but once they did, the Owls cruised. The first goal of the game would come via Alyssa Selio in the 33rd minute off a pass from sophomore Cindy Ramirez. Citrus kept it rolling in the second half when Ramirez fed sophomore Rebekah Evans for a score in the 48th minute.

The Owls would go on to score two more late, the first in the 78th minute when Ramirez scored a goal of her own off a pass from sophomore Alessandra Perez-Negron, and the second in the 83rd minute when freshman Taylor Lewis scored thanks to a pass from freshman Madison Hunt.

With the win, Citrus improves to 9-6 overall and 6-2 in WSC South play. The Owls will be on the road again on Tuesday evening when they take on Glendale College at 7:00 PM.
