Woodland Hills, CA -- Coming off their biggest win of the early season on Tuesday, the Citrus College Women's Soccer team had another tough test on Friday afternoon when they travelled to Los Angeles Pierce College. The Owls couldn't muster the offensive effort they did on Tuesday evening, and were blanked by the host Brahmas 2-0.

The Owls faced an onslaught by LA Pierce nearly the who match. Citrus was outshot 18-3 on the game, including an 8-0 deficit in the first half. The Brahmas would score in the 38th and 64th minutes despite an impressive effort by freshman keeper Amber Henry, who had a season high 11 saves.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 2-3 on the season. The Owls have one more pre-conference contest on their schedule, and it's another doozy as they travel to San Diego Mesa College on Tuesday evening for a 7:00 PM tilt.
