Glendale, CA -- The Citrus College Women's Soccer program hit the road on Tuesday evening to take on Glendale College in a WSC South meeting. The Owls doubled up the host Vaqueros and came back home with a 4-2 victory.

Sophomore Savanna Lujan got the ball rolling with her second goal in as many games, finding the back of the net in the 24th minute. Less than two minutes later, Lujan got the ball to sophomore Taylor Lewis who ripped off her first of the season to make it 2-0. Glendale would fight their way back in with a goal in the 40th minute that made it 2-1 headed into the break.

In the second half, Citrus wasted little time in extending their lead when sophomore Madison Hunt took a pass from sophomore Zariah Silva in the 46th minute that made it 3-1. Sophomore Brittney Perez would add on in the 69th minute for her first of the year. Glendale would add another score via a penalty kick in the 88th minute.

With the win, Citrus improves to 4-4-1 overall and more importantly 2-1 in WSC South play. The Owls will be back at home on Friday for a big one when they host Santa Monica College at 3:00 PM.
