Glendora, CA - A week after putting together arguably their best offensive performance against visiting Mt. San Antonio College, the Citrus College Women's Soccer team put together maybe their worst of the season when they hosted Fullerton College. The Owls got stung by the visiting Hornets as they gave up three scores, and scored just once despite several good looks in a 3-1 loss.

The trouble for Citrus started early when Fullerton used a counter attack to score in the 27th minute. The Hornets would add another strike just before the halftime whistle in stoppage time to take a 2-0 advantage into the second half.

After rattling off four shots to no avail in the first half, Citrus finally hit pay dirt in the 62nd minute when a pass by freshman Megan Cabrera made it's way to freshman Devyn Bagwell who made it 1-2. Unfortunately for Citrus, despite taking seven more total shots in the second half than Fullerton, the Hornets put the game away for good in the 84th minute with a third goal.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 5-5 on the year. The Owls will hit the road for the first time in awhile on Tuesday when they travel to Los Angeles Valley College for a 7:00 PM showdown with the Monarchs.
