Lancaster, CA - The Citrus College Women's Soccer team's win streak reached four games on Tuesday afternoon when they travelled to windy Antelope Valley College for a Western State Conference East Division showdown. The Owls scored just one goal, but it was all they needed in the 1-0 victory.

The two teams would feel each other out over the course of the first 45 minutes. Each team only managed a pair of shots in the first half, with the Marauders getting one of those two off one of their two corner kicks in the half.

Citrus' goal would come extremely early in the second half. Freshman Devyn Bagwell scored her fourth of the season after receiving a pass from sophomore Jaline Miranda (for her third assist of the year), in the 48th minute. The Owls would continue to play the role of the aggressor in the final 42 minutes of play, outshooting Antelope 9-2, but only coming away with the one score. Sophomore keeper Amber Henry would record a pair of saves on the day, and get credit for her third shutout of the season.

With the win, Citrus improves to 9-5 overall and 3-0 in WSC East play. The Owls will have their toughest conference test to date on Friday when it travels to College of the Canyons for a 2:00 PM showdown with the Cougars.
