Glendora, CA – The Citrus College Women's Soccer team under the guidance of Head Coach Tim Tracey, continued its unprecedented run of success on Tuesday afternoon when it qualified for the playoffs for the second straight year and fourth time in the last five. The Owls earned the #19 seed and will be on the road on Thursday when it travels to #14 Santa Barbara City College for a 7:00 PM showdown inside La Playa Stadium.

Prior to the 2012 season, the Citrus College Women's Soccer team had never qualified for the post-season. Since then, they have qualified four times, only just missing the post-season during the 2014 season. Santa Barbara City College meanwhile has qualified for seventh straight post-season, and their 10th time in their last 11 years of competition.

The Owls and the Vaqueros have met up on the pitch just once before since the 2006 season. That meeting came in 2007, when Citrus travelled to Santa Barbara for a WSC cross-divisional contest. The Owls were sent back home with an 0-2 loss on the evening.
